Does anyone play this? I recently downloaded it, and installed a bunch of updates from a site posted here. One of the problems is that the player's stats go up to 02/03... but the last Stanley Cup listed was the 2001 cup, and seasons start in 2002. This will make player stats look funny, since it'll have two "02/03" stats. :)

Anyone know a work-around for this? Also, anyone have strategies, tips, etc? I don't know much about the formations and stuff about hockey, and I also don't know what to do with the scouts, what to look for in a defenseman, the training, and all the other options this game has.

I hope someone else plays this. I can't believe it's free. Are the stats realistic too?

I've just installed the game and it looks great, pretty deep and all.

My problem is, I know next to f*ck-all about hockey. Anybody know any links to sites with help on hockey ???

Great game. I remember when Riz released the first version, which was a bit of a mess as I recall. It is still the best one to be released up to this point. There were many in production several years ago, but only EHM actually made it out. Riz is living the dream right now. A CM-like hockey manager game had been a dream of mine for years.
