<b>The FOF American Soccer Draft</b>
Let me first say that this is not my original idea, that distinction belongs to Northwood_Dk. He will be running an international draft it looks like, so if you are interested check out that respective thread. This draft will follow the recent drafting threads here at FOFC. Here is the ground rules…
-Each team will select a full roster - 23 players. Players who are eligible can either be active MLS players or Americans based abroad. An international player is eligible if he is own a current MLS rosters. Players must be male. American college players and youth players are also eligible for the draft.
-I will be administrating the draft but will also be drafting and doing a review at the end of each round.
-An undetermined amount of teams will be drafting. It all depends on the interest in this thread.
-The player must be on an ACTIVE roster somewhere.
-Draft order will go by a “reverse format”. Example team 10 will pick 10th in the first round but first in the second round.
You need to get out your pens and pencils and start doing homework. Good luck to all who decide to enter the draft!
