TPF or FOF?

I have played FOF for years... however I now see TPF has now been patched...

What should I do? Should I spend my 35 on TPF or the new FOF version?

Let me know your opinions...

Try doing a search as this has been asked and responded to multiple times. I have both and play both but that is just me.

If you've loved past versions of FOF, then I can't possibly see how you could be disappointed with 2k4. Its a great upgrade, not only with the addition of multiplayer, but in single player as well. The draft great now, the AI is pretty challenging, and the game still has the best sim engine around.

I suggest trying the 3 day demo on TPF to see how you like the game. It definately has its strengths, and a few weaknesses, although I haven't had time to try out version 1.36 yet. I have the game and like it, others here weren't as impressed.

Basically, what it comes down to is a matter of taste. You have an idea of what you get with FOF, but I stress that this is best version yet. You have an opportunity to try TPF for 3 days, so you should be able to get an idea of which suits your taste by then.
