After 43 years as one of the world's prettiest pairs, the perfect plastic couple is breaking up. The couple's "business manager," Russell Arons, vice president of marketing at Mattel, said that Barbie and Ken "feel it's time to spend some quality time -- apart."




Damn, I thought their love would last forever. Now it's gonna be hard to explain to my daughter how Ken won't be staying at the Malibu dream house anymore. And how Ken will be hanging out with Teresa more and more.

I'm going to hold out hope that they can get back to gether - at least until I get confirmation of their irreconcilable split from the Drudge Report.

I've known something has been wrong with them for years. Ken never looked ineterested in Barbie, and my sister used to steal my Six-Million Dollar Man action figure for Barbie...
