How does this happen? According to ESPN, the Raiders are $511,000 million under the cap!

The league upped the cap for them. They like parity.

Perhaps its part of a deal they struck with Al Davis to keep him from suing the league every other week.

DD, read that again. That's $500,000+ million or more conventionally, $500 billion. All of East Bay, including Oakland is not even worth that much. :D

That's around 10% of the GNP. I think they should be able to solve some of their problems. Must have a hell of a revenue stream over there in Oakland. . .
