An abbrieviated edition, but I'm actually going to be away from the computer until tomorrow, and I was worried that the crawfish might take a snub personally. We'll see if we can't get a few more honorable mentions up on sunday.

USA V.77
1. Fighting Crawfish 36 +57 (65)
2. The Orcs 36 +56 (67)
Fighting Crawfish (70798 The Afoci) v. Orange Peels (5th - 17pts)
Vienna AC (4th - 22pts) v. The Orcs (70800)

A goal here, a goal there, it all adds up. The Crawfish are headed for division IV so long as they don't win by less than do The Orcs this Sunday. If they do, they are going to finish second, and wouldn't that be unsavory at 13-0-1? The Crawfish were true giant killers in the cup this season, taking out SI's division IV Hippos, the Yuma Bulldogs of division III, G's Goons of division II, and finally Drunk&Disorderly of the major league. They finally succumbed to current cup finalist and ML champion Kansas City Wizards in round 8. Quite a run.
The Crawfish have been putting up NSI numbers in the high 70's, so I hope they stay away from IV.10 because I'd rather not get demoted. This is the Crawfishi's third full season in V.77, finishing third and second in previous seasons. The lab has been working hard on the laser blasters (at least when Chavez is around to distract them).

USA V.53
1. West Henrietta FC 36 +56
2. WarDonkey's 36 +44
3. Shadow Raiders 28
4. Hinsdale 1981 19
West Henrietta FC (70601 bigjdotcom01) v. Shadow Raiders
Hinsdale 1981 v. WarDonkey's (70605)

In this sometimes twisted HT-world, the WarDonkey's are a good example of what happens when you mix ambition with stupidity. Namely, they appear to have been locked out for unsporting behavior. However, like some insects that don't know to stop flailing around when you cut off their heads, the WarDonkey's are still chugging along with an absent GM. bigjdotcom01 is poised to take his team into division IV. with a win, but the Shadow Raiders can't be expected to just roll over for them. West Hen is a low 60's NSI squad. This their 5th season in hattrick, and they have steadily moved up the V.53 table to the position they now hold. Their 3-0 away win versus the RAY-DUHS in week 1 is a good omen for this weeks final matchup.

USA V.103
1. S. Boston Hooligans 32 +46 (58)
2. SD Strikers 32 +44 (59)
3. Cory Bantics 24
4. Goalers 24
5. SSA Lazio F.C. 23
Cory Bantics v. S. Boston Hooligans (71008 McSweeny)
SSA Lazio F.C. v. SD Strikers (8279)

Another goal difference race comes down to the wire this week. With autopromotion not on the line, the strategy here can be a bit dicey, depending on your teams goals regarding a shot a division IV for the next season. The Hooligans are pegging right around 80 for NSI scores, and are right at the edge of cracking the FOFC rankings top ten. They are definitely a threat to take a qualifer next week if they get the chance. The Hooligans have made tremendous strides in this their third season in hattrick/V.103, finishing only 5th and 3rd in the past two seasons. Another team I'd just as soon see stay away from my division, but a team who would definitely give either of the two qualifiers in IV.10 a real headache.
