FOF2K4: First Early Bust In A While--Question

I haven't had a player bust *before* I've signed him in quite some time, but it just happened to me. 3rd-round draft choice T Grant Atkins is down to 7/16 with a 2.0 bureau rating before I signed him. I seem to remember reading that someone had some luck with early busts working out. Am I dreaming? I can sign this guy if any of you think there's a chance of him working out, but it is a risk, cap-wise, as I'm close to the cap, and will be the next few seasons it appears. Thoughts?

Not sure I'd pull the trigger especially given your future cap situation. Interested in how it pans out though.

They regain some but not very much of their ratings, I'd say drop them.
