One of the worst renditions of Oh Canada I have ever heard!

Back in 1984, Marvin Gaye sang the national anthem at the all star game in LA, I listened to it tonight just to pay a little tribute to him (actually put Christina on mute ;) ). It still is the best version of the national anthem I have ever heard. I think it was the last time he ever performed live before his death.

Last night (before the Saturday night skills contest which I admit I watched :O ) Marvin Gaye's daughter sang it in concert with video taped footage of him from that performance. That was good. Tonight the music was a travesty (except for Beyonce - WOW) I'm enjoying the game for the most part as their has been at least some defense and their has been a plethora of exciting offensive plays (and plenty of sloppy ones too)

and what was Beyonce singing out of if she had to pull out a mike for the last song in her set (Crazy In Love), she wasn't singing out of anything for her first song and then she pulled out a mike? maybe for the first song that ike was placed in a naughty spot.

I started watching after the Simpsons, and to my suprise, the game hadn't started yet.

This is a historic day. This is the first NBA game I've sat through in years, and i watched a NASCAR race... Talk about extreme ends of the sports spectrum.

That's not traveling anymore. A guy will need to pick up the ball and run down the floor like a runningback for traveling to be called.

That Michael McDonald thing was just weird. I honestly thought Beyonce had cancelled or something and he happened to be at the game so they threw him out there.
