When I started a FOF career, I had set that I wanted the firing option. The more I have played and developed a team/career history, I now want to be able to GM this team forever. Is there any way to change this option?

WHen you get fired, it will ask if you want to be fired. You can click no.

If you ever get a email that says that you have been fired, you are given the choice to be fired or keep playing. If you accept the fireing your game is over. You wont be given a chance by another team.

Thanks for the notice, I just got an email saying that the owner is not happy. We have done fairly well but we are losing an incredible amount of money each year. It's nearly impossible to not lose money early on playing Arizona.

At the end of next season if things dont improve you will have been given notice to remove all your belongings from your office.

The problem really is Arizona's staduim. You have to essentially wait until 2021 until you can either move or build/renovate the staduim. When the game starts, they are building a staduim, which is obsolete when it's completed. Therefore, you can't make any revenue to adequately cover the signing bonuses later in the game. I've been to the playoffs 6 of the last 7 (had the best record 3 of those, just no SB wins) so that should have enabled me to keep my job, but I am losing a ton of money.

If you get that notice... don't sit around and ponder it and let your kitten accidently accept your firing :(

It's Ironic that you mention that scenario because my cat oftentimes lays next to my keyboard while I play this game. Since she occasionally makes some sudden movemetns, I could very easily see that happening...thanks the heads up... (sorry that it may have happened to you)

It did happen to me, but I was going to accept my firing anyway as the results of a poll on here said I should. I just didn't like my kitten making the decision for me prematurely.
