For those of you late in joining the party, the ultimate goal is to take the perpetual title contending Duke dynasty of Coach K, and turn it into a #320 RPI Ranked Division I Bottom Feeder.
In the first 3-1/2 years of the dynasty, we struggled mightily with our goal. The team won 30 games in years 1 & 2 (finishing as high as the Elite Eight in the tournament). In Year 3, we finally fell through the 30 win barrier, but still won way too many games.
Finally, late in the fourth season, things started to swoon. A 4-11 finish turned the promise of a 17-2 start into a 21-13 season that ended in an embarrassing first round loss in the NCAA Tournament.
Last year, the title contender that Duke had been crashed and burned. Injuries, lack of depth, and general lack of talent caused the Duke team to fall to 9-22.

The new year has removed the last vestiges of talent from the roster. The team should contend for last place in the ACC and beyond this year.
But enough of me yapping, let's get on with the show.
