View Full Version : Should I train stamina or Playmaking in the Offseason

Here is my dilemma. If I go with playmaking in the offseason, I can get my 17yo Formidable playmaker upto 6 weeks of training. However he has weak stamina. One other trainee has weak stamina another trainee has solid stamina, and the rest are at excellent. One or two of my trainees will be sold next season. That way my 17yo can start getting some experience. Im just not sure if its better to train him up and hope to get very lucky with stamina training next year, or go ahead and switch too stamina and lose two weeks worth of training on my 17yo.

Stamina, you're gonna need it.

Train the stud in Playmaking. It is cheaper to train stamina later. Unless he is a starter and you need the stamina, I'd go with PM.

In all honesty, train PM this week and Stamina next week. Get the best of both worlds.

Yeah, you can easily just split the difference. Plus, you won't have the expected form hangover from 2 weeks of stamina.

I'm training stamina this week and PM next week.

Since I don't have any 17yo that I want to get one last week of training in before they age, I am going to take the form hit early and hope that it will begin to recover by the the first league match.

Since I've got a qualification game, I'm going to be doing playmaking this week and then stamina next week. I've got great form right now so one week of stamina shouldn't kill me. As someone who has done it before, two weeks of stamina kills the early part of your season. If you're looking for a "train all" alternative to stamina, I did set pieces last season with great success.

I think in your shoes, I'd do playmaking one week since you're pretty bent on wanting to get at least one week of playmaking but work in a week of stamina there since playmaking will only train 3 a week with one match and that's just bleh.

I think I am going to go with stamina this week, and PM next week. That way if i have a really crappy stamina update I could always train it again. Form is not a factor for me, since I always have high form and my starters avg form is 7.
