David Booth and 2004

Folks, heard a real chiller last night on Radio Show Coast-to-Coast. Seems a man named David Booth back in 1979 had a documented-before-the-event series of dreams that an American Airlines DC-10 would 'invert' (flip upsidedown) and crash. Mr. Booth had these dreams for 10 nights in a row in March of 1979 being so disturbed that he contacted local airport officials in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Airport officials, far from dismissing Mr. Booth as a 'nut', actually had a procedure to use for this kind of thing and attempted to try to identify where, what, when, ect.... Unable to do this, all anyone could do was wait and hope for the best. Mr. Booth stated that after the 10th dream, he knew that the dreams would end but felt the event was inevitable.

In May of 1979 an American Airline DC-10 took off from O'Hare International Airport in Chicago and lost an engine as it climbed. The engine loss also cut key cables and control wires causing the plane to invert and nosedive into the ground. All aboard were lost. Mr. Booth left work early that day, feeling deeply troubled before the event, and had it confirmed by phone that day from an airport official he had contacted earlier. Mr. Booth has given only 2 interviews since that day, one to 20/20 in 1985 and another to BBC in 1999.

This is all very long-winded and you can find out more at CoasttoCoastAM.com. But the chilling thing here is that David Booth, for only the second time in his life, has just had another 10 dreams. He feels that the event he forsees in inevitable. And that event is a large natural or manmade catastrophe striking the western United States in 2004 sometime after June 8th. David Booth has a southern Baptist background and thinks this may have to do with Biblical prophecy. Mr. Booth also thinks that it is no accident that the movie "The Passion of Christ' is coming out at this time. We can only hope and pray. Time will tell. This is a true story.

"Green pointed out that because Booth's prophetic dreams turned out to be true in the 1979 disaster, this lends weight and credibility to his current vision. What Booth dreamed in March 2003, on ten occasions, was a vision of seeing Earth from the perspective of space. He said he saw "a large dark planetary object" coming from under the Earth towards the South Pole. Then a huge decimating explosion took place over the western side of North America, followed by a "ripple" that traveled around the Earth. Booth added that the object was somewhere between the Earth and the Moon in size.

By correlating cross-cultural, ancient and current data, he believes what he saw will take place in the 2004 time frame, as part of a series of events that is started by the June 8th "transit of Venus." And why are all those scientists converging on the Telescope sites in Antartica all of a sudden but not saying anything? Did that 20/20 interview happen or not? Mr. Booth has a Southern Baptist background, and if you read your Bible you'd also read that in Revelation it says about the last days, "Old men will dream dreams, and young men will see visions." The credibility of Mr. Booth, if any, would seem to rest on validating that his original dreams were documented BEFORE the crash. Mr. Booth himself states that 'from his background" he knows that prophets that were wrong in the old testement got 'stoned to death."

The fact that it could be 'man-made' seems also very important to me, as the very next day (Tue) Bin Laden's second-in-command came out stating that Al Quedda would still hit the U.S. George Tennent in today's news states that Al Quedda is still capable of delivering a 'devasting blow' to the U.S. on its homeland. And I seem to recall some intelligence expert (there are many to choose from! Did not get the name) some time ago that believed that the U.S. would almost certainly suffer a nuclear device detonation in the near future.

My mother in law, bless her heart, is a closet conspiracy theorist. I was cleaning out my closet and I came across an audio cassett she sent to my wife and I. I couldn't resist so i popped it in the player while i finished cleaning. The tape was made and sold by a man who claimed to be a baptist minister who was very eloquent, and who qouted reliable sounding sources who talked about an impending catastrophy that was about to sweep the western world. He then described the actions that right thinking christians should take to prepare for the disaster that was sure to occur. i think his preparations might have included buying more of his cassette tapes. In case you haven't guessed, the catastrophy he assured us would take place was the Y2K bug and thearmageddon that would follow. I wonder how many tapes he sold....

By the way, interesting how on Drudge today the story about how scientists almost put the world on alert about a possibly asteroid strike that supposedly just missed happening. Just interesting timing to the above story. :eek:

My last word on the subject: Booth believes that the only reason he had the first set of dreams back in 1979 was to give credibility to this set of dreams. Is he the modern-day Noah? I understand Coast to Coast is an easy target of humor (Elvis and Dianna are still alive, flying around in a UFO and just adopted bat-boy!), but again time will tell. The other side of the coin could be that the second set of dreams are meant to never happen, thus totally discrediting Booth and prophecy in general. But I do believe that he (Booth) is convinced in the reality of what he saw.

One last point of interest in this story, Booth was contacted for a meet in the 1980s with the last surviving sister of the Fatima vision. And she apparently never meets/met with anyone, so that in itself is kind of significant.

Okay, this was back in 1979, so maybe he had just watched all the films in the blockbuster airline disaster series called "Airport." This would inlcude "Airport '70," "Airport '75," Airport '77," and "Airport '79," plus the books and related hysteria. Maybe watching all of these movies gave him bad dreams and caused him to call the airport to predict there would be a plane crash in the future. It turns out there was a plane crash in the future, and thus began his slow descent into insantity to the point where he now has teamed up with a snake oil seller who promises to give you an anthrax-proof industrial strength immune system for $19.99 and he believes -- through the correlation of cross-cultural, ancient and current data, of course -- that the world governments and the Vatican have conspired to keep secret the fact that there will be an apocolytic disaster somewhere in North America in 2004 and that the Bush Administration secretly kidnapped a team of microbiologists to develop a viral plague that they will unleash on humanity shortly before the event to cut down on the chaos that will ensue.

Keep thinking of an old black and white TV show called "One Step Beyond", where a man wrote a book about the largest passenger ship ever built, hit an iceberg on its maiden voyage and sank.
