My series is a walkover except for two games agains the only team that can possibly beat me. Now what if I MOTS both of those games. We are so evenly matched and the rest of my games are sure to be walkovers, if i MOTS could i maybe lose one of those walkovers? I really want to promote, but am going to stick with 5-4-1. Thanks

no chance if they are walkovers, unless your midfield is really terrible, then you might have a slim chance of losing one, but I highly doubt it. When are the two matches played? It would make no sense to mots both of them if you have back to back games with him. It would be more effective in that regard to MOTS the last match with him, hopefully its also your home match. If the matches are more spread out, then its no problem to mots both of them.

i don't know when we will play each other, but i can't imagine it being back to back. i'll wait until next week when the series fixtures are released to decide.

It takes effort to lose a walkover. I mean real effort. If they are BOT's, then just PIC, PIC, PIC, PIC, then use your MOTS on the team that can beat you.

Series: VI.927 (28263)

1. Socca Starz
2. tha_untouchables
3. Alterac Raiders
4. Os Tornados FC
5. dave's squad
6. ES Rampage
7. New Orleans United
8. cunningham

--

8. cunningham is a bot playing of course 4-4-2 with crappy players => PIC
7. New Orleans United is an abandonned team playing 4-3-3 (bad players too) => PIC
6. ES Rampage is owned by an owner who connects regularly, he upgraded his stadium to 14K, made a few meaningful transfers, playing 3-5-2, but you owned him 7-0... => PIC
5. dave's squad is another abandonned team, playing a not so bad 4-3-3 => PIC anyway
4. Os Tornados FC (abandoneed team) playing an inefficient turtle 4-4-2 => PIC
3. Alterac Raiders is owned by an active owner, pretty decent transfer history too. 15K stadium, correct 3-5-2 => PIC again

2. tha_untouchables => that's you (active owner, decent transfers) playing 5-4-1 (means you train defense) - favorite for promotion but needs an upgrade at GK. For moderate price (200K) you can get a solid goalie or you can try to pull one (your current one seems like a low inadequate... so passable would already be an improvement)

1. socca starz (logged only 5 times since Jan 15th, and only once in February) => abandonned team candidate.=> PIC

---

So apart from ES Rampage, your series is a very very weak one and with your team, I see no reason not to autopromote.

- You will play at Rampage on Week 5 => I recommend a MOTS or Normal (depending on how your series evolve).
- You will ten host Rampage on Week 10 => obligatory MOTS

---

Of course the situation, could change if new owners come and get the abandonned teams, but you will not have a Walkover this season (maybe socca starz) suring the second part of the season, but not for now !

this sucks. i had just typed my reply, and when i submitted it i was told to log in. then my post was deleted. oh well...

i am more worried about alterac raiders. our matches have always been close with the last being a 3-3 draw. (kept me in 2 place) that is the team that i am worried about, plus we have a rivalry going as we started hattrick right aroud the same time. so i should be able to PIC all my matches and not lose(hopefully)? then MOTS my 2 against alterac raiders? i think that is what i will do. i am also going to throw some AOW. and some offensive wing backs. hopefully my youth pulls will be sellable so i can upgrade my forward. and my keeper is injured, but he is solid(266,000) not sure how high solid he is, but he was a YP so i am happy. yep

for your keeper, check www.hottrick.org , they have a keeper tool => insert form & value => it will sort his rating (obviously only works for non injured players)

Not to throw more logs on this fire, but Mozilla and Netscape keep what you have in your blank (well, there are some issues with when you have to send stuff) but most of the time, it will be there whereas IE whisks it away to be lost in the land of who knows where. The back button has saved my computer from being smashed on more than one occasion.
