Any GIven Sunday is a great movie on football, as well as modern pro sports.

I love that movie too! My favorite scene is when they play the local prison team for practice and all the convicts are ex-NFL Hall of Famers. :D

Another football comedy I love is "The Replacements." The Aussie kicker, Samoan offensive lineman, reborn again Christian receiver, a lot of funny personalities.

One of my favorite football movie moments is "Remember the Titans" when the white coach decides to confront the ref and blow his chances for the state hall of fame and then tells his defense, "We're not going to ive them another f*cking yard!" That moment makes me want to put my pads on and jump on the field! :)

Our very own Fritz was in The Replacements, so I will go with that one.

At our pep rally some junior kid, real funny guy, re-enacted that scene. The gym blew up... it was awesome.

Really truly?
Yes. Now if you send me your credit card number, I will send you the movie with a big yellow above Fritz every time he appears.

Where's the North Dallas Forty love? Great look at the not so glamorous side of football and there's some classic football lines in it too.

I particularly like Nolte's character's line about his relations with management (paraphrased) "Whenever I say it's a game, you say no, it's business. When I say it's only business, you say hey, it's just a game!"
