How can you blow a 6 point lead in 20 seconds. Unbelievable. Stanford has got to be the luckiest team this season, which probably means they're gonna win it all.

Maybe their luck will run out Saturday against a Washington team that is on their own hot streak...

The end of the game was crazy. I was pulling for a Stanford win to set up the matchup with Washington on Saturday but things looked really bleak. I don't know if they'll be able to do it or not but a Washington win would be huge for the program. With their weak RPI, a win over unbeaten Stanford would look a lot better to the selection committee than beating them after losing to WSU. As it is, I'm thinking Washington would have to get the win on Saturday and then reach the finals of the conference tourney to get a legitimate shot at reaching the NCAA tourney as an at large team.

But cant beat UCLA....hehe

Ugh. In their last 13 games, Washington is 11-2 and UCLA is 2-11. The second loss to UCLA in the middle of the hot streak is the type that could keep Washington out of the dance. One of Washington's biggest strengths is their athletic abililty and UCLA just happens to have a team that matches up well with them. I'm sure they wouldn't mind another shot at them in the conference tourney though.

UCLA has had Washington's number in both Basketball and Football for a while now, and it's getting old.

I'll say this though - if they meet in the Pac-10 tourney I don't like the Bruins' chances of making it 3 for 3...

I was pulling for WSU. I love what they've done with the team. They need to recruit some talent, but they're headed in the right direction. I went to their game (in the Spokane Arena) against UCLA earlier this season, and it was good one.

I'd like to see the Huskies get into the NCAA tourney. Then they'll land another great class of recruits, and the top player can transfer to Gonzaga next year. :D

Tough loss for the Cougs, but a nice scare for the #1 boys.

For his first season as coach, I think Bennett has done very well at WSU with admittedly poor talent. I think we can be a more competetive force in the conference now, instead of a gimme win every week for the other team.

Hopefully some of the football team's publicity and growing reputation as a winning program will help with basketball recruiting.

Yea, they MUST have been lucky to win all their games? I mean, its just some Stanford team that has one of the best all around players in the NCAA(Josh Childress) and they just have one of the best three point shooters in the NCAA(Matt Lottich) and they're coach is some no-name guy who has lead the Cardinal to JUST 15 post season apperances in his 18 years as coach and was considered last year for the Naismith Coach of the Year.
They may have been lucky shots, but its not luck that these guys are one of the best teams in the nation.
