I demand you to make a spreadsheet that will figure out when the Killer Bee's youth sell will actually make his new owner a profit on the market.
It be like a comb spreadsheet with the training weeks AND a market value spreadsheet with skill levels

not gonna happen :p I'm coming up with a value of "infinite" for when he will recoup his initial buying price, since after seeing him bid three times on the same player with no bids from anybody else, from 3 to 4.5 to 5 millions U$, I figure he will try and train him in goalkeeping, soooo...

Lazy Bastard ;)
Using your spreadsheet and HAM's transfer list. He would have to get him to World Class for a profit. A 16 week training regime would take him to almost the end of Season 24 (age 19) While a 14 week system will take him to almsot the end of Season 25 (age 20)
Skill level Avg. Transfer Price (USD
Inadequate 19,196
Passable 52,901
Solid 207,955
Excellent 582,250
Formidable 1,273,002
Outstanding 2,003,848
Brilliant 2,911,246
Magnificent 3,452,349
World Class 5,426,089
Supernatural 8,476,775
Titanic 6,215,455

Actually if you trained him at keeper he'd get to World Class when he's 21 :)

FWIW, the excellent passing will significantly raise that price. Plus the fact that he'll probably be on the U20 team.

I hope he makes a huge profit, of course, but strangely enough he was a keeper trainer until recently.
Not that I'm biased or anything.

If those values are accurate, he'd have to be trained to titanic or higher, actually.
Considering that you could pick up a 17 year old inadequate for basically free, you need that 2 level gap to be worth more than the 5 million paid. And that's not even counting the opportunity cost of five million. If it's just put in the bank, that's between $520,000 to $760,000 a season in interest depending on how many economists you already have.
