I'm not sure, but I don't think AE got more than 100 FOFC votes. That means he did a pretty durned good job of campaigning.

And GoldenEagle's performance was also impressive; he totally earned each of those 2 votes since we don't have any users over there. He was up against a huge wall there but did a good job scratching out some votes. Next election he'll have a really good chance, I think.

I was disappointed by only getting 10 votes in Canada. I was actually expecting a top 4 finish, with hopes of top 3. I guess the whole american in Canada thing is still a big issue.

GE, just stay visible and the votes will increase. I managed to piss most of Canada off with my first election and had a uphill battle to get to where I am now.

Next election, I better get at least 20 votes, or I might have to reconsider the chances of ever being elected outside the USA.

USCHO is one, which got paksennarion a very large portion of his 52 votes. That's the only other one I'm in.

Is Perplexity in an organization that block-voted? Or is there something else (that I missed) that would explain his/her strong showing?

USCHO is around 45 members, but I'm quite certain that all of them did not vote for paksenarrion. He probably got between 60% and 75% of his votes from there.

There's also an active thread on BigSoccer, but no real organization to speak of over there (although it may not stay that way).

You had an amazing run, 60 is huge for where you ran. Doubling that would put you in third. Afoci did great too considering his last run for a Canadian coaching office. Goldeneagles is good too, with how small that league is it won't take a whole lot to go up higher in the rankings now.
