When will we have fully staffed MLB AAA AA A leagues. I want to have full 25 man rosters for all 3 minor leagues. and the ability to watch or play those games also? Is any of this a possibiltiy. I swore Markus said that we would have fully staffed Minors????

I want to have full 25 man rosters for all 3 minor leagues. and the ability to watch or play those games alsoI just have one question: how long would it take to finish just ONE season managing every single Major AND Minor League game??? :eek:

Of course, I'd give the question more validity if he mentioned the many minor leagues, not just 3. :-D

By my count, there are 19 minor leagues; full active rosters would be approx. 6,700 players; full seasons of majors + all minors + playoffs = about 14,238 games played in a season. Compared to 2,471 for the major leagues - so about 6x the number of games.

How about if they make a stadium simulation a la Rollercoaster Tycoon, where you can see what each individual fan in the stadium is thinking. Things like:

"The over/under on Griffey getting hurt this year is April 28th."
"Is that a fingertip in my hot dog?"
"I just proposed to my girlfriend on the Jumbotron and she said no. Anyone up for a pity date?"

I would like to have fully staffed minor teams, but the games CAN be simulated you know. Right now the minors system is in total disarray as far as I'm concerned. It's just not implemented well.

Oh man, that's waaayyyyyy back. :D

I haven't talk to Twins34 since the "trail (sic): part 2", which was sometime in 2002. That's when we believed he was trying to get ahold of all our forum passwords (after 474,000 threats), and we told him we'd turn him in if he didn't face a "trial" of his peers. During the trial, he struck a special deal with the prosecutor (me): He would send me his picture, in return for us leaving him alone forever. But, according to him, there was 1 condition: If I ever showed anyone his picture, the deal was off (which would mean that we wouldn't have to stop bugging him, right?? :D )

Anyways, he sent me his picture, we looked at it, and we decided to leave him alone for good. Since the 1st "trail", he wasn't allowed to block us on AIM (we accused him of trying to hack our user accounts), but in the end we agreed it was ok for him to do so. So that was the end of that, and "a era came to a end" (sic).

At our old board, we had about 4 or so pages in a special forum of unprovoked Twins34 spam attacks, threats, etc, and also the official Best of Twins thread. But in switching boards, none of us remembered to back all that up, and we lost it forever. I still have the BoT in a Word file, and its up on a couple of webpages somewhere. The only real proof of the old Twins34 is from an EZboard glitch which kept the old HHC OT forum from 2000-2001 alive. Some of his old threads and threats are still there.

How many players/leagues does CM handle? It's a mind-boggling number to be sure, since it's a global affair, so I think it could be done, but geez, every game in detail? What chance at a life do you have with that?

I know that but would you like a baseball text sim where the only option is to play out each game (thus not relying on the AI to screwup game pbp and logs)? ;)
