Bengals: Dillon-to-Oakland talk heats up (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=fanball-bengalsdillontooakla&prov=fanball&type=lgns)
News
Disgruntled running back Corey Dillon could have Cincinnati in his rear-view mirror before the weekend, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Bengals and Raiders are closing in on a deal that would send Dillon west for a draft pick, believed to be in the third or fourth round, the Enquirer said.

The Broncos have also surfaced as a potential player in the Dillon talks, meaning the Bengals may end up getting a second-round pick in the deal if bidding starts to heat up. Both clubs could use a feature back of Dillon's talent, though the Raiders seem to be a better fit for his attitude given their track record of rehabilitating malcontents. You knew Dillon wouldn't be back in Cincy; now we're getting closer to learning the specific destination.

You're not referring to yourself in the 3rd person in the title, are you? Ksyrup cannot believe you would do such a thing.

I really hope he goes to Oakland & Crazy Al's Fun House. Denver could win, Oakland, well, I mean, come on, they're back to the Oakland of old. When I say Oakland of old, I mean they're all collecting social security. . .

Care to rematch in NCAA without using your favorite team, or any other powerhouse?

You guys should play as NMSU and UTEP. That would lead to a fair and crappy game... :)

When I get my modem we can play again no problem. But how can u consider Florida State a power house in that game? The are a good to very good team... why don't you pick a better team?

I'm used to playing with crappy teams like IU. That's why.

I'm stunned Miami didn't ask Cincy if they'd like their #1 pick for him. Dillon's the kind of useless player Miami would normally waste a high pick on.

Then nevermind cause I could just pick a team with a fast QB and call it a day. I think you picked UDub last time so why couldnt u pick USC this time?

This has to happen now. Oakland is so nearly cartoonish that I love it.
They're the team I'm now playing with in my solo career, and I try to play as much "in character" as possible. I keep alternating maxed out stadium deals between Oakland, Los Angeles, and 3rd cities - putting in zero of our own cash of course. :)
I also raid the 49ers at every opportunity, and just go crazy signing free agents I don't necessarily need. It's a lot of fun to play recklessly, but I have some serious cap hell (and i mean REAL hell) coming in about 2 years.

Didn't I take VTech? I honestly don't remember. I could be IU, you could be Illinois. My main point being, you were familiar with FSU's strengths/weaknesses, whereas I was using whatever team I picked for the first time. This would just be reversing the setup from last time. :)

I wish I had the time. It was an empty cupboard too. I drafted 3 quarterbacks in my very first draft (wanted to be positve I got my guy)... but an undrafted rookie I signed turned out to be by far the best. Deion "Dream" Weaver.
It's been an amusing run the last few years, and the two times it looked like we'd win the Super Bowl Weaver has gotten injured right before the start of the playoffs.
