For the last two seasons in a row, I've had a game added to my schedule late in the season (early March). It wasn't there in November, but all of sudden, there it is. Has anyone else seen this?

Bracket Buster, maybe? It would be really cool if the game modeled that, though I wouldn't bet on it.

It happened again. I'm playing an Indy (Sav. State) and frontloading the schedule. My last game was 1/22, but I just looked (in December) at there's a game with Boston College on 2/16.

Did you have a home and home?

Did you have a home and home? No. I never do those. Plus, I've never played Boston College.

Is the game of any obvious importance to either squad?

Is the game of any obvious importance to either squad? As it rolls around, yes. Both teams are on the Bubble Watch, but back in December (when I noticed), the scheduling module couldn't have known that, could it?

I don't know for sure but it seems as likely an explanation as any other. Let's see what Brian says.

Sounds like Bracket Busters to me, though I still want to see what Brian has to say.

Sometimes the game needs to add a game to certain teams' schedules in order to get everyone as close to 28 scheduled games as possible. It is kind of like the occaisonal 12th game in TCY although more common.
