FOF: TCY Questions

Recently picked up the game and had a few questions:

1) What is the best way to get players into the HoF and earn PoY honors? I have had several players that were better at their position than others that won the honors, why did their guy get in, and my guy go away honor free?

2) Each time I have won the national championship, I have had a player leave early for the draft, but it has not happened at any other time. Is this the only time this happens?

3) I have noticed over my 26-year career that certain positions have very little talent each year, WRs and ILBs particularly. What causes this, is it random? Or, is it based on how many teams run what offense?

1) To get in the HOF a player must be a 4 year starter. It will take a long time (10 seasons, I beleive) before he is eligible. As for POTY, just rack up big numbers. Sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't. I run the run n shoot and have had two QB's win POTY but the last one didn't even win in his best season. It depends not only on the player's performance, but his competition and (I think) the region they come from.

2) I have never noticed a player leave early, even when I won the national championship, so I can't help you here.

3) I beleive this is just random.
