Was thinking about making this my next import purchase (while waiting for SI to put out FM2005 and EHM:FE).. but don't want to spend the 50-60 bucks + international shipping without hearing more.. I'll probably download the demo too.. but want to know if anyone's played any games by this publisher combo:

From SportPlanet:

Britsoft publisher Digital Jesters and French developer Cyanide Studios have announced today the release of the definitive Pro Rugby Manager playable demo. The demo covers three weeks of play at the start of the season and gamers will get the chance to play the colourful NEC Harlequins in two fabulous 3D stadiums.

"Following on from the groundbreaking seal of approval from Premier Rugby this latest demo will give all gamers and rugby fans a piece of the action in glorious 3D before game launch on 26th March - the day before the finale of the Six Nations." said Leo Zullo, Marketing Director for Digital Jesters.

Pro Rugby Manager is being published by Digital Jesters and developed by Cyanide Studios will be available on PC on March 26th 2004, priced £34.99.

Here's the Demo (http://www.gamershell.com/download_5321.shtml)

Foz,

I'm heading back to Texas for a few days at the end of this month. If the games is released by then, I can pick it up at the Duty Free shop at Heathrow and mail it to you. That'll save you International Shipping costs. Lemme know if this sounds interesting.

I saw this game a few days ago on Gamespot. It looks more like EA's Rugby game with some manager/career options thrown in (with far worse graphics, if that matters), rather than a game that's comparable to CM or EHM. But that's my impression from the screenshots. I have the demo and will give it a try at some point.

Maybe! I know for sure I'll be in Austin. Even though I've been over here in Europe the past two years, I bought a house outside of Austin that I have to come back for to sign the final papers. Not sure when my work is done in Europe, but once it is, I'll be coming back to live in Austin.

If I do make it up to DFW, I'll have to stop in at the Olive Garden to give ya grief!

That's a game I've always been curious about but never tried.
