If two are gone today, I think Chet and Nick will be gone.

Maggie doesn't like the Miners... :(

Edit: And what are these fools smoking thinking that BYWho's going anywhere?

I guess I missed the last 2 episodes but some of the average to above average commentators have gotten a lot better. The competition is really starting to sort itself out. I see two people that should be voted off and the rest are going to get better as the contest comes to a close.

I think that it's going to be Chet and Maggie who leave tonight...

Can they take any longer with the voting segment?!?! They cut to commercial about 3 times...trying to waste time or something.

I don't get how Nick was a dick? That's weak, he had a good sense of humor and no one really picked up on it, I knew Jaffe was going to cut him too. Unfortunate, but Maggie you're going to get cut if you don't stand still pal.

He was way to cocky, or as Tony K put it, there was a smug factor. I just never really liked him from the get-go...

I liked Nick in the first show but think he has gotten worse as the show has gone on. I would have run Maggie instead of him this week but it wasn't at all an unfair choice.

Once they run Maggie the calls start to get a little tougher. I think Zacharius is the guy that I'm rooting for at this point, although a little less after this week than I was going into tonight's show.

I really do think they are all good, still leaning towards Mike, then Aaron/Midget C

Maggie may be struggling a bit at times...

But I'd still let her give me a DreamJob.

Are you sure? I get the feeling Maggie enjoys being in the womens' locker room if you know what I mean. ;)

Hehe...she looks like those girls in highschool who ran the scoring table at the girls basketball games. The ones that only wore skirts to funerals.

Or most softball coaches.

Hmmm. I'm notoriously bad at picking up on that...but still, pillow talk about OBP and RPI sounds strangely appealing.

Heh, well put. Did she get the boot last night? I thought she was absolutely terrible, yet the judges really seemed to let her off the hook at every turn. She said "ummm" about 50 times during that face-off segment, talks a million miles an hour, and has a really lousy voice when speaking from the desk. Her face also seems to go all other the goddamn place when talking. Absolutely no way she should make it any farther.

I have wondered over the course of the competition about some of the politics of the decisions. For example, I was convinced Chet would advance last week no matter how he performed since he was the only black male left and they had cut two the previous two weeks with the Williams guys getting axed. So with the other girl being run the prior week I wonder if that is why Maggie is still alive?

I'm wondering the same thing. I also wonder whether it's a conscious effort by the judges, or just coincidental. Maybe they just aren't seeing it the same as the TV viewers. I thought Maggie was absolutley horrible, and has zero potential to put it all together and be a legit anchor.

I think it's probably more of a conscious effort on the part of the 4th judge - Jaffe? He has more of a direct stake in making the talent pool look representative than any of the judges do, by virtue of his position with ESPN. It's not the judge's fault that both of the black candidates weren't that great. The first guy was awful; the guy who got kicked off last night was OK, but would have needed to be kicked off at some point, because he clearly wasn't one of the top 4-6. Same thing with the women.

Was it just me, or was Al Jaffe all over the place with his critiques last night? I disagreed completely with at least a couple of them, and I just didn't see Maggie going through at the expense of Nick.
