UPN ordered Tyra Banks, the show's executive producer and host, to cut out portions of next week's episode - which has been highly promoted as "the orgy" episode.

The group grope happened late one night in Milan, Italy where four of the show's up-and-coming models were working on the show.

The contestants invited four young men they met there up for a party and nature apparently took its course from there.

"Next week's episode contains material that UPN felt was inappropriate for broadcast," said a source close to the show. "They asked the producers to edit it down - it exceeded what would've been appropriate for broadcast."

The order to make the cuts came "very recently," the source said. "It was just part of the natural editing process."

Promos for the racy episode were shown at the end of last week's "Top Model" - including a scene with one contestant sobbing over the phone to her boyfriend back in the U.S. that she had cheated on him the night before.

The part with the boyfriend getting mad at the cheating girl was hilarious. Best reality girlfriend cuss out since Vag(sp) and Montana(think that was her name) on Real World(I think Boston).

my fiancee loves the show, so I peeked up from my book every now and then. The "orgy" looked like any other party, except they were hot models in a hottub together with some very lucky Italians. Lots of empty wine bottles around. However, they did have a nice fashion shoot with two nude models paired up, looking rather sensual.

frankly, that makes pretty good television.

Tyra Banks is insufferable though. Every time she's on I want to throw something at the tv.
