Anyone pick this one up yet? I'm told it's going for $20 and all.

The whole budget title thing frightened me. I'm not sure what to make of that.
I loved the first two though, so I'll definitely be interested in hearing about this one. I didn't even realize it was out yet.

Just found out today myself, when I noticed it was supposedly shipping on the 16th. Figured, someone out there must've tried it out.
I remember part 2 from my days in SB, so this next version's going to be interesting.
Second part was great, let's see this one.

For whatever reason, the unit acknowledgement sound effects from LordsII always stuck with me. You know, when you clicked on a unit and it would say "Yes, m'lord?"
Seems like eons ago...:(

Hmm. Hasn't hit the stores in my area yet, still shipping.
Anyone else get a chance to pick this sucker up for $20?
I can always count on Calis to check this forum. ;)

I've seen it in the stores.. same store (Babbages) that I just bought JA2:Wildfire. I looked at both games, but was only going to get one and decided on JA2:Wildfire. I'll be anxious to hear some thoughts from members of the forum as I might still get Lords of the Realm 3 in the future.

To sum up what I have read on it: CRAP!
You don't have any control. You can't determine the makeup of your army. You assign a type of person to run each region for you and they handle it all. You can only control your troops and nothing else.
Not sure how true this is, but I have read 3 or 4 reader reviews on IGN and that is what all said except one that said it is the greatest historical simulation ever or something like that...
That sucks... The second one was great.

Wow. Well, glad I didn't pick it up then.
Actually...it was more out of being lazy and all, than anything else. Still, something to think about, I suppose. Thanks, Afoci.
