Multiplayer free agency is a lot of fun and definitely more challenging than single player. Here are a couple of minor things that can be improved:

1. I forget how it is when you play solo, but in multiplayer when a player is released during first-stage free agency, nobody can bid on the released player until second-stage free agency. I like how this works, but I wish there was some way (color?) to distinguish the free agents you can sign from the released players who you cannot yet sign. As it is now, the search function becomes almost useless because the signable and unsignable players are intermingled. Also, it would be good to gray out the "submit offer" buttons for the released players who cannot yet be signed.

2. In solo, the players to whom you have made offers are always highlighted in red. In multiplayer, however, every player who has an offer from a human gets highlighted in red (i.e., everybody), so there's no easy way see which guys you are dealing with. It would be great if your offerees could be highlighted in a different color (or somehow turn of the red highlighting for everybody else).

One thing that I think would help significantly would be to make the whole process of sharing the files etc... more userfriendly.

Look at Lasersquad nemesis. That game has a play-by-email approach but you dont have to many work with the files.

Being able to 'send files' from within game would make it just *that* little bit easier and much more convenient. Tis not hard to do either...
