Have you watched A Few Good Men lately? That rant you gave at the end of the closed Ping:SkyDog thread reminded me of Colonial Jesup's rant on the witness stand. Specifically the reference to being crystal clear and the line that starts "I have neither the time nor the inclination to...".

Nahhhh.....If I had been in Colonel Jessup mode, I would have said something like this...

I run my message board how I run my message board. You want to instigate me? Roll the dice and take your chances. I eat breakfast 300 yards from 3,000 trolls who are trained to harrass me, so don't think for a second you can come in here, flash a PM, and make me nervous...Then I would have said....YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!! Son, we live in a cyber-world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with mod rights. Whose gonna do it, you? You Lt. Weinberg? You weep for mrskippy and you curse FOFC because you have the luxury of not knowing what I know--that mrskippy's banning, while tragic, probably saved posts. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you...saves posts. You can't handle the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about in public forums, you WANT me banning trolls! You NEED me banning trolls! We use words like dola, trout and Solecismic. We use them as the backbone of a life spent playing and evaluating text sims. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who posts on the message board that I run, then questions the manner in which I run it! I'd rather you just said, "thank you," and went on your merry way. Otherwise, create a message board and moderate it yourself. Either way, I don't give a damn about what you think you're entitled to!!!
