Just won the Ivy league in my 5th season as coach of Cornell!

Ironic thing is, I'd struggled to even get to .500 in the conference before this season, despite having two great seniors last year. (one averaged 13 points and 8 boards his senior year, the other 10 points, 3 boards, and 4 assists). Both were 4-year starters for me.

This season my star player is Harold Jiminez, an offensive force who was a JuCo recruit from Canada. After him, my SG is Stefan Sandleitner, from Lubeck, Germany. He's a sharpshooter and pesky on defense, averaging 2.4 steals per game this season. Inside I look to Frederic Mansell for defense - the 6-10 Junior from Lynbrook, NY has improved every season, and now is averaging 8 points and 8 rebounds per game.

Our bench is the strength, though - 6-5 swingman Darryl Williams is a pure athelete sophomore from Southampton, NY. He provides energy off the bench along with 6-5 Freshman Carlos Harrington from Bay Shore, NY. Neither put up gaudy stats, but both have the potential to take over the game.

At point, we run with Kris Parsons, a 5-8 freshman Worcester, MA who has a lot of speed, but keeps his game under control. He's averaging just 1.0 turnovers per game.

Just wanted to post this - I believe it's my first ever conference championship in FBCB (I moved to GaTech before winning one with Wichita State, and then at GaTech I made the tournament but never won the ACC)! (and in the Ivy League, you have to do it the right way, just winning the regular season title).

:D
