I've only played exhibitions and have had a couple of great games. I currently have a Stephen F. Austin career going, so I play them in the exhibs against other Southland opponents to learn how to coach without getting killed. One game I played Lamar. SFA was just rocking them early, getting up 34-18 with 5 and change left in the first. Slowly, steadily, Lamar fought back and by late in the game had managed to grab the lead. Clock winds down, SFA goes for the last shot, it misses, but a 'Jack player comes out from no where and stuffs it back through as time expires for the one-point win. Sweet.
Bittersweet was another exhib where I played UT-San Antonio. In this game, it was my turn to get beat up as the team played a hideous first half (they didn't score until about five minutes in...fortunately UTSA was also not playing that well). About ten minutes to go, SFA's down 51-37. I shift to a 1-3-1 defense and step up my pace (I usually play slow-down because I'm not fully certain of my team's abilities yet). It seems to work as UTSA struggles offensively and my guys make the stops and hit the shots. Rallying from fourteen down, they actually surge into the lead at 61-59 with a minute left. I elect to start eating clock again, but UTSA forces a TO, which turns into a foul and they convert a free throw. Still in the lead, but UTSA forces another turnover and gets the breakaway to go back up by one. Grrr... Ultimately, the team loses the ball again going for the last shot and UTSA runs out the clock to win. Fortunately it was an exhibition or I'd have been really miffed about it. I actually cheered a little when the guys managed to knot up and then take the lead. It's these moments when you realize it's a great game that you're playing. :)

i have played a couple hundred years on this game, so forgive me i don't remember what team i was and who i was playing, it was some time ago. But i know in the second round of the NCAA tourney one year i had a guy from the other team score 65 points against me, and i won by about 10 points. Needless to say only 2-3 other guys on his team scored, all in low single digits.
