Congrats to Uconn, now how does everyone else stack up. Using the highly scientific x beat y formula, I have concluded that the top 65 teams are ranked as follows (So Uconn beat GT, and UConn beat Duke, GT beat OK State, then UConn beat wheover and so on like that through all the rounds). In order from best to worst (bold denotes beginning of next round):

Uconn
GT
Duke
Ok St.
Alabama
Kansas
Xavier
St. Joes
Vandy
Nevada
Illinois
Pitt
Syracuse
UAB

This list is total bullshit. My Catamounts are clearly top 25 worthy.

UTEP beat Nevada, so we should be in the top ten. And Nevada should be higher than Kansas, since they beat them early in the year.

And I really don't give a fuck that Nevada beat the Miners twice...

Do we get a trophy for our 6th place finish? Or a pizza party or something?

Woo Hoo! We're #7! We're #7!

Although I'd argue Xavier to be #5.

Yeah, but you can't really argue because this is based on the algorithm of who-lost-to-who so it's set in stone math.

I know. I know. But over the course of a couple weeks, Xavier beat 2 #10's, a #1, a #2, a #3 and narrowly lost to another #1. Not to mention the additional #4, #8 and #11 they beat during the season. Overall, they were 9-4 against tournament teams.

Darnit, I'm basking in the sun.

We're #5! We're #5!
