This looks to have potential(more game coverage, etc), however for those who have Directv(such as myself) I fear that the Dish Network tie could prove to be the end of Directv customers getting this channel. Hoping this is not the case.

Urgh. I've tried watching G4, but I hated it. There was no substance to any of the programs I ever saw on that channel. The only show I kinda liked was the "soap opera" that was played entirely on MMORPGs. I think that show is "Portal," but with all the monosyllabic show titles on that network, I can't be certain.

Portal, Pulse, Cheat, Sweat, Lick, Prod, Crust, etc.

I liked the show Icons when I saw it. A lot of the shows were hit and miss with me. Some of them were just horrible, and with some shows one day I would think what they did that day was pretty good, and the others it was a horrible topic or just a horrible show for the day.

But it's a new channel, relatively. Most channels go through that rough, just throw a ton of shit on it, period at first.
