The f-ing mars volta!!! Right on!

I heard so much about these guys and never game them a chance because of who liked them. I then read that they were the torch bearers of mainstream prog. That did it, had to get the album.

Best move I made on a review suggestion. Certainly in a niche by themselves but if you listen, there are touches of Rush throughout...along with yes and King Crimson.

They're what Rush would be if Rush were younger today. Its so werid to hear Sparta and the Mars Volta and then think they were in the same band. Both are the top in their own genres, but I got to love the crazy 10 minute solos on a CD.

How did you create those links?
I used a program called tsDesk. You can find it HERE. (http://www.missouri.edu/~traf2b/tsdesk.html) HERE (http://www.nerdusa.com/index.php?cat=13) is a great resource that will help you get started... It is really easy, and I have no training in this sort of thing. It keeps your desktop clean, and very accessible.
