I was just in the break room having a honey bun (don't look at the nutritional value on those little suckers), and was getting a cup of water out of our water dispenser, and noticed that the plastic cups I was getting were Premium Plastic Cups (Shatter Resistant!).
Premium seems to be the overused buzzword now to signify high-quality, whether or not it applies to the product in question. Gasoline, ice cream, even web content, you can always expect to pay more when the word premium is slapped on something.
Any other examples of misuse of this word, or other advertising buzzwords? I think the premium trend is starting to fizzle out, and low-carb is having its day in the sun.
