I set up an ezboard for us to continue our discussions without cluttering the main board here. Head on over there.

Let's get this stuff figured out and have a great league!

We are currently voting on how we want to establish our rosters, if you are in the league or even on the waiting list head on over.

I think the poll I put up is rather unneccesary. I get the feeling most people would agree a Player Draft with some sort of Protected rosters is a good and fair compromise.

Yeah I do too...what is the next issue? How many players should we protect? I will post that poll.

I don't know about that. The poll that's up here has "No Draft" beating the combined front of "Full draft" and "Protected List" 16-13...

Then vote in the newer, concise one.:D

Already have. I was the third vote... :)

5 is dominating. I want to make sure everybody knows that if you don't want one of those five choices (ie: you want to just take the default rosters and play) to just post that. EZ only let me have 5 options.

I'm in. Maybe a chat tonight at around 6, 7, or 8pm central time?

dola,
I would at least like to get a few things ironed out, if possible.
Teams/Owners we have (check)
Real Team names and leagues are being used (check)
Number of protected players?
Number of draft rounds?
Salary cap?
Maximum cash on hand?
How does a chat at 8pm sound? (CST)
I would think majority vote rules.. meaning if we can get at least 16 votes for some ground rules in this league, that would be enough to make it stand.
* We still need a commish * I'm just trying to organize some things. :)

that chat sounds good to me but where we doing it? At EZ or AIM? Maybe post a whole new message pinging all of the owners and telling them of a chat. I know I want to watch the Cardinals (at 7) and Blues (at 8) but I can be at my computer and still see the TV. It's up to you, I just want some answers so we can start drafting!!!

Me too, I'll have both games on, but Blues have priority tonight. :)
I changed it to 8pm, but if we don't have a good showing we can move it to a different day.

I just recieved an updated version of the CBL Cardinals roster from a user over at ootp. I could probably put up a temporary website so owners could start looking at their teams and making decisions on who to protect?
Maybe tonight or in a day or so.
