As many of you know, Jeff will no longer be able to continue on with the league. He obviously have priorities that much higher than running an online league. So we have to ask ourselves: Do we want to continue on?
I'll be honest, I cannot do the task of commish due to my job. I would do it if wasn't for that. I would like to continue on with the league in just a GM capacity.
If we do, then we need to find someone who wants to do the demanding task of being commish. Following that, we need to get a website up and running for the endeavor. Is this something that we want to do?

I am also interested in continuing as GM of Sheboygan. Should we be able to find a commish that is...

Sorry but I feel that the IFL won't be successful in finding a GM. I could be spending my time looking for another league to join that was more productive and had a GM that was into it, rather than one that is stepping in just to keep a league going. If an announcement was made when we heard that Jeff was leaving, about somebody taking over right away, I would feel differently. The fact that nobody emailed the league and said that they wish to continue the GM role, shows me that the XFL indeed outlasted the IFL.

Just an FYI, but the CFL has a few openings for those who may be interested... :)

Like the others before me, I would be interested in continuing but not in the capacity of commish. I would not be able to do the job justice with work, church, family, 3 other MP leagues and fantasy baseball.
Hopefully, someone will step up to the plate. The IFL was/is a good idea. I hope we continue the league in some fashion.

USFL does have one opening, for the Denver Dustdevils. I will be commish for a long long time in that league as....well, I have a lot of free time :)

I can vouch for the CFL and GE as a commish. He's done a superb job.
And GE... I think you may now get that Empire dynasty that you've been asking about! ;)

I'd take over, but I have neither the technical expertise nor the time to do so.
However, we may have a volunteer who would like to commish this league. He e-mailed all of us and set out some conditions for taking the role, none of which I feel are unreasonable. For those who want to continue on, it's probably a good idea to reply to him ASAP saying so.
As for the notices of openings in other leagues, they're nice to know about, and I'll let you know if I'm interested.

agreed, thanks to all who posted about the other leagues and for the PMs.
At this time, because of my jury duty that started on monday, I don't want to make any decisions on a league. I will notify or join a forum when I am able to, after my duty. I understand that for the most part, if a league is looking for somebody, they will remember the eagerness of somebody willing to spend time involving themselves with the perspective league. I will make myself known after my jury duty.
By the way, anybody know of an O. Sampson or Simpson? He is in the same courtroom as I am in. They say he killed somebody but it's not to be used against him.
Just (j/k) wondering
