I do not think anyone has a realistic case for any judicial matters unless .400 sues for slander. I also do not think .400 has anything to lose, as probably a small majority of their fanbase would actually care about ethics.

I am impartial right now. I could see .400 doing something like this. The company has a history of releasing software early, which could be unethical right there. It is a competitive market and Joe might not stop at anything to get ahead. I think druez's wife is the secret here. Why was she hired? Was she hired to keep druez quiet? What is her exact position at .400?

The reason I've been lurking is because I'm finding out about this just the same as you are. I had no idea about any of this until it came to light this morning. Im going to reserve judgment until some facts are shown here but I will say this. If, and note I said IF, if Jason is telling the truth I would be extremely dissapointed in Joe because I do not believe that is a proper way to conduct business. If on the other hand Jason has fabricated this story then that tells me all I need to know about him.

Bottom line, I'm here looking for facts and info. I believe Jason when he says this is something between him and Joe and that nobody else at .400 knows about or had anything to do with. Whether what he says happened really happened, that still remains to be seen. Please don't lump everyone else, including his wife who does fantastic work, into this dispute. Wish I had more insight I could offer but Im just as clueless as anyone else here as to what is going on with this.

Here's the likely possibilities:

1.) Druez is really being an honest and upstanding guy. Maybe a tad naive, but honorable nonetheless. Chicks dig that. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we give him the benefit of the doubt here and assume this is the case for now...

2.) Druez is a pathological liar and all-purpose moron. I've known lots of hot chicks that married assholes, so, again, I'm not ruling this out - but I don't see this as being very likely.

3.) Druez AND his wife are just plain wierd - which, is possible if one pokes around that website with the photos and assumes that they might be taking the role-playing a tad too seriously. Hey, I've seen hot chicks at Star Trek conventions and SCA gatherings... anything is possible.

Hey, maybe, maybe not. Other then when she was pregnant, which she obvisouly not in those pictures, she has stayed the same size and weight. In my opinion she is very pretty and photographs very well. We have tons of photo's of ourselves "digitial camara" and those pictures were taken at our old place before we bought our new house. I'll hazard a guess -- it cooled off the direct confrontation between players, which was clearly better left to PM/email/telephone territory.

On the other hand, it'd be wholly unrealistic to expect the audience for those shows not to discuss (or at least reference) one of the most surreal exchanges in FOFC history.

Problem is, I think a lot of us are left scratching our heads, not sure what to make of any of it. Which is why I'm not doing a helluva lot of discussing at this point.

Once something resembling a resolution is reached, when the majority of people finally draw some conclusions, I suspect we'll see a thread that's Top 5/Top 10 in all-time FOFC post count. Depending upon how solid the evidence is, maybe even an all-time largest thread.

Agreed. I'm content to sit back and watch the action, reserving judgment. The only conclusion I can reach so far is that others at .400 appear legitimately taken aback by the accusations. If this proves to be untrue, I feel bad for Joe, and if it is true, I feel bad for the remaining guys at .400. So, in either event, people who are faultless are going to be (or have already been) hurt by this. But I don't know druez or Joe well enough to give either of them the benefit of the doubt, and without more info, I've got nothing to go on.

Druez agreed until he figured out that Joe slept with his wife. Druez challenged Joe to Paper Rock Scissors which Joe lost at because he realized what he was doing to soon(on the second instead of third bump) thinking the sooner he got it out the better, he would just trick Druez later into thinking Joe is won.
