It's pretty.
The draft is excellent.
There are signifigant errors in stats, particularly turnovers and special teams play.
Player skill screens don't seem to be as easy to interpret and navigate as you might hope.
The patches have improved the game immensely since its initial release, which bodes well for future iterations.
It's worth playing, but FOF is still the superior product.

Just download the game, and I believe it's somewhere in the setup

Download the game, and when you run it, an elicense screen should come up. In the bottom right somewhere, there should be a button that says "Trial" or "Demo". Just click on that and you'll have 3 days to play the game and decide.

I thought they changed their demo policy to only 1 day or 5 game hours?

Honestly, if you want to talk about GM AI, I think TPF is one of the best. It does a great job of evaluating needs, tendering the right offers, trading and pursuing free agents. To me this is something very important. Where the game falls down is in the ingame portion/gamplanning is not implemented well, training, and I'm not sure just how all the player personalities work yet- in other words how do they afect player performance/willingness to negotiate etc...

I made the most of my 3-day demo last week--end (Easter Monday, so 3 day week-end !) and while I enjoyed the game, I still had way too many crashes to purchase it...

I already have FOF 2004 and really don't need both...

This is for the new products at time of relief. 2-3 months in, they upload a 3 day demo

I expected to see more 1.40 patch comments here. There's been a few things keeping this game just out of reach for me, but I'm dying to try out the draft.

I guess I'll hit the demo sometime this weekend.
