Just wondering if there were any "Easter Eggs" in FBCB that anyone was aware of...

Not at the moment. I tend to leave things out in the open. Did you have something in mind?

Eh... the usual... you know, the emergency cheat code that maxes out a player or two on my squad when I'm about to get fired from my fourth job in seven years... ;)

This game is maddeningly addictive.... I worked my way up to the Pac-10, got canned because I couldn't take Cal to the tourney on a regular basis, came back with Fresno State (who had been promoted to Pac-10), then finally got offered the job at Arizona State (my alma matter), where I only stayed for three seasons... and it seems like I'm always getting fired right as my best recruits are just starting to come out of their red shirt freshman years (especially frustrating, as Cal OWNED my ass while I was at Fresno State and ASU - thanks largely to the #2 recruiting class I landed right before I was fired).

The limited conference movement option really makes the top-tier conferences super-competitive.... I'm finding it impossible to stay up there. After getting canned at ASU, the only job offer I had was at, umm, Quinnipicidingeionadfawefa... whatever... never heard of them. Anyhow, I've boosted the team's prestige from 1 to 24 in, like, 6 years, largely due to a weak conference. I'm hoping to earn my way back to another job in the Pac-10, because I'm a glutton, and I'm determined to build a dynasty in that damned conference somehow.

But I digress... I really didn't have any specific easter eggs in mind... I just recall thinking, as the ASU board of directors was about to drop the axe, "wow... that 'maddening' easter egg would come in real handy right about now..." :D

Since you are looking for a quick fix, just rehire yourself as the coach....

You can do that?

dola..

At this point, I'd sort of rather earn my way back... but I didn't know you could re-hire yourself...

In case anybody cares.... I never made it back to ASU with that league. I did, however, eventually get offered the job at USC. I built them into a perennial national powerhouse, and decided to quit when my prestige reached 100. I'm going to try to start over again with an independent, low-prestige school...

One complaint I have is that it seems that whenever you win a national title, ALL your assistants leave right away for coaching jobs elsewhere. That's a little annoying...
