Where do I begin?

Well I have my health......

It was becoming appearant from my last twoo weeks working at Burlington Police that I was in for a major, but fun, challenge. If you ever have worked in the public safety arena, you know how that is. I was going to write last week and bow out of my muti-player involvements. I needed 24 hours after my three work days just to decompress enough to be human again. Then Friday morning came.

I, in trying not to make a mistake on the job, dispatcher, made a bad judgement error. Nobody got hurt or anything, but the City decided to let me go. They were extremely gracious enough to let me resign, which I did in a very emotional meeting this morning.

For those who don't know, I have some rather severe physical disabilities. The agencies that are supposed to help those of us with needed work accomodations and attendant care, did not. It made a huge difference in trying to function on what turned out to be a very stressful job when I spent most of the last month behind the eight ball. Not good times.

While the decision for my "resignation" may have been premature, I had a hard time keeping up when things got moderately busy, in the end it was the right call.

At this point, I need a breather from the multi-player obligations I'm in. There were a lot of things that happened that are not okay and my wife and I need to figure out where to go from here.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Ron

So Ron, are you saying I should pass on the Giants to someone or do you just need me and Marmel to understand that you won't be around for a little?

Things ought to start looking up soon Ronny, keep your head up man you know we're all behind you.

Worst advice ever, but you get the point, I hope all works out for you.

Totally understandable, real life comes way before games. Take care of you and your family first, Ron.
