A fun game started by SirFozzie. Here are the rules:
I provide 5 questions, you try to get as close as possible to the real number. PM all guesses to me. Closest to the real # (and no looking it up, wise guys) gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 4, 3rd place 3, 4th 2, and 5th place 1 point. Most points wins and hosts the next game of Guesstimates.
NOTE: You are NOT allowed to do web research for this game. It is called GUESSTIMATES for a reason!

1. In 2000-2001, how many pounds of oranges per capita were consumed in the USA?
2. As of 4/29/04, how many former USC Trojan players are currently on NFL rosters, or have their draft rights currently owned by a team?
3. At the Olympic Venues in Los Angeles in 1984, how many total pounds of trash were generated in the 22 days that the olympics were held by the participants and spectators at the events?
4. How many total wins have the Florida Marlins had since they started playing major league baseball in 1993?
5. How many known strains of Ebola virus exist?
