it's kinda becomin' a habit for me. Some of 'em I forget, but lately I just usually xx whenever I post a link. Why take an unnecessary risk?

Sure it's a good thing. Other reports I've seen put the length of the deal at 4 years, which would take the show through 19 seasons. While I'll be the first to agree that the show isn't as consistently good as it has been in the past, it's still one of the best and freshest shows on TV. I'd watch the worst episode of The Simpsons 10 times before I watch "the best" episode of any of the drivel ABC calls a sitcom or crap like "Yes Dear." And don't even get me started on that reality nonsense.

Will The Simpsons one day hit the creative death valley a show like Fraiser has hit? Probably. A two or three years later, they'll probably pull the plug. But as long as it is the second-highest rated show on Fox and a big winner in key demos, it will still keep chugging out there.

It'd be a little hard to get by on a check of $0 an episode. Although the tax break would probably be nice. However, I would rather apply that pay scale to the writers, since it's their material the actors read.

I think overall this last season was pretty good... I say the more episodes they make the better.

As a new show, this series is dead to me. I absolutely never watch the new episodes (i'm not even sure what time it's on), and I wish they'd quit about 4 years ago. It's not nearly as funny as it was in its prime.

Still, I watch it in syndication almost daily, so I see some episodes that are new to me mixed in with the absolute classics.
