Somebody posted in the NHL thread that they were bummed that Francis never won a cup. I would agree that he deserves it.
Post who you think should get one, or should have gotten one. Also post who you think should never get one...haha.
Win: Ron Francis
Never Win: Barnaby and/or Lindros
EDITED FOR FACE-SAVING
Win: Pat LaFontaine or Sundin

I wanted Francis to win a cup... but only while he was in Hartford.
F'N Karmanos.
F'N Eddie Johnston as GM of the Whalers - Yeah Francis, Ulf Samuelsson, and Grant Jennings for John Cullen and Zalapski... great deal.
The next year Eddie Johnston is coaching the Penguins.

I just think he really wants to be in Toronto....and he will play much harder as a Leaf......Lindros still has all kinds of talent.....and I have no problem with players who want to play in Toronto.......

Poor Dom. It's all right, Dom. No one will ever take our Cup away from us!
As for me...
win: Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and anyone else who may be playing for the Wings when the next season start and has yet to win. (just towing the party line)
never: Tough to say. Most the players I hate have already won one...

Only reason we hate is because we haven't gotten there yet...so it's right to hate those who have denied us.

Win:
Jarome Iginla (hopefully this year, as I've adopted the Flames as my favorite team for the rest of the season)
Sean Burke (the reason I became a Devils fan years ago, but NOT this year, as I hate the Flyers)
Paul Martin (did a more than admirable job with his additional ice time after Scott Stevens went out)
Nikolai Khabibulin
Rob Niedermayer
Valeri Bure
Not Win:
Pavel Bure
Eric Lindros
Everyone on the Flyers who hasn't won one yet

Anyone who chooses to leave Toronto, in any sport will be hated in Toronto by Torontonians....this also applys to Tracy McGrady, and Shawn Green

Keep this in mind the next time you get a job offer that pays better money.

I excuse those 2 cups because at that point i just thought he was a pain in the ass type hockey player. But now i realize he is a pain in the ass human being.
And he showed it by having Eaglesonin his box at play-off games....nothing like kicking players in the face.

There's a big difference between me leaving my current job for a better paying one than someone who is already a multi-millioniare leaving a team that has a chance to make a good run at the Stanly Cup because he wants even more millions.
And by the way, I have turned down better paying jobs. I love my boss, and I have this thing called loyalty that a lot of people don't seem to understand...

Especially when he leaves the team that saved his career from Mike Keenan and the St. Louis Blues doghouse. It was a betrayal against the fans that worshiped him for 2 million dollars more...and for that, no cup for you, cujo!!!

He had Eagleson in the box? That's unreal. He knows this guy was stealing money, even while Clarke was a player, and he still associates with him? That's something I can't comprehend.

Well, don't forget, the Leafs were his childhood team, as well. To me, if you could play for the team you grew up cheering for, and make a little extra cash, it seems like a no-brainer.
