Shocking News From Ninerville!
Today in shocking announcement, Denise DeBartolo-York and her husband, Dr. John York have put the 49ers up for sale. At a routine press meeting this morning Mrs. York said, “it is time for the DeBartolo Corporation to sever its ties with the San Francisco 49ers. Although this team has a bright future ahead of it, we can no longer be part of that future. My husband I have decided to liquidate our assets and retire. This is a decision that will be beneficial to the 49er organization, the fans, and our family.”
Inside sources say that the real driving force behind this decision isn’t to retire and relax, but because John York is tired of the media and fans scrutiny. When confronted with this information, York responded, “Ah duh ah duh duh duh duh duh.” Apparently, no one actually knew that York was a complete retard. Yet there was strong speculation among many fans.
The future of the 49ers is up in the air and many are anxious to see who are the prospective buyers. Some have speculated that Steve Young and Brent Jones are the next in line to own the storied franchise. Young and Jones created a joint venture to own a team back in 2000. As for now, the 49ers are still owned by the York’s who have confirmed that they would like to sell the team before the season is underway.
