I just installed a router on my machine, and now my upload is horridly slow(like 15k/s) when i used to be able to upload at 300 k/s. Transfer of 1.5/second is horrid. Im sure i just have 1 setting messed up. Anyone had a similar problem?

Wireless router or ethernet router?
If it's a wireless router, check your connection strength.

What program are you trying upload with? Certain applications need specific ports open in the firewall to work correctly.

Any of the other geeks around here think it's sort of funny to see a subject line that reads "Ping: Router Help"

forgive me, but how do you install a router on your machine? Are you running gated or routed on a linux box? Perhaps with one of those cisco routers on a ISA card?
