If you are interested in the Front Desk Baseball Assocaiton, an OOTP6 league designed for member of FOFC, please follow the following link and fill out an application:

Here are the general rules for the league:

-Stats only league. The league will use stats as its main determinate to how a player is doing. However, it has been pointed out that in the past OOTP is not the best when determining when a player should be promoted using stats alone. Should we turn on stars, etc?

-Real players, real teams. We will be using one of the roster updates floating around the OOTP community.

-Immersion. The ultimate goal of the league is to provide a fun, compettive league. This will rely a lot on the website, which is all on me. I also want to do just one sim per week so we can relax a bit and discuss up coming series, etc.

Thank you everyone for your interest so far. The applications are coming in at a steady pace and I suspect they will continue to do so. I am going to give everyone a chance to apply, and then make decisions from there. Once again, thanks for your interest. Also keep a heads up as I hope to get the new site up by this week but that largely depends on my work schedule.

I've applied to be the Devil Rays, but im afraid by the time the league starts the Devil Rays will be a powerhouse. :)

Give it time, I know GE was doing something school related that was taking up most of his time as well as having web troubles, i'd wager it picks up soon.

GE, just a heads up, I have yet to purchase the game, but should be employed by early next week. So it should be mine within a few weeks. Don't know the timetable here.

Guys - I have been super busy lately trying to get everything into a new apartment and really having no solid place to live. I think I should have something up by the end of the weekend hopefully. I think you will all get in, just a matter of sorting through the teams.

Can somebody else start a league? This isn't a bust on GE (i understand busy) but I would like to partcipate in an online-FOFC-OOTP-league.

The main thing is is just getting it started. Once it gets started, I will urn it over to someone else if I find I can't come up with tht time. I think I will have some tim this afternoon to get everything together.

Gee.. there were about 10-15 teams open I think, and I didn't manage to get any of them? God forbid I don't have 3000k posts here so I guess I don't get the benefit of the doubt to get the team I request.

Dude, there are people under you on the waiting list who have as good a reputation as you, no reason to get snippy.

I understand.

My gripe is I was (at least I think I was) one of the first people to respond to this thread to request a team. The Phillies were open, I requested them, so why didn't I get them?
