I posted with some others on FOFC awhile back about interest in making a NASCAR type text-simulation and I am helping a developer right now making one, just with ideas and research, so if anyone is interested in helping with ideas and such, he said he needs more people to help in general but also looking for some graphics people, please take a look at this link below if your interested in helping out in any way, here is the link,

I hope it's okay to post this and not upset anyone as I love this forum for information and just good reading, but if anyone is interested please join and just start posting your ideas, thanks!!

My neighbor would probably clean up his yard if I bought him that game.

yea, but from what i read they are doing the "arcade" sponser system seen on games like Nascar 2004 and such. I've never heard of a driver losing a sponsor for finishing 31st and not 30th. I always hated that on console games, I'd much rather have a set sponsor, or a set sponsor for a certain number of races, not an unrealistic sponsor system like what I read in my VERY short time reading that board. Correct me if that is not how its going to work, but thats how i took it.

No there is some similarities to the sponsor system set up in console games, but only at the end of a season. Some will be for full year, some for half year, some for race to race, etc.

The sponsors would not be as "flighty" as the console games have it. I am aiming for something more realistic.

whoo hoo. I'd love a really good stock car Sim, or any kind of racing for that matter.

Does he have a computer or would you have to buy that too?
