The 30-year-old wife and her 36-year-old husband are now being given sex therapy lessons while the university clinic undertakes a study to try to find out if there are more couples with a similar lack of sex education.
Sex therapist must be a great job.

Not if it consists of trying to couple two 30-something spouses who've never been intimate.

Talk about awkward...

It does strick me as odd to think that there wasn't something instinctual that made them think "hmm, hole....thing....hole....hard thing...etc."

Maybe she had nostrils the size of silver dollars.

I've heard stories of people not knowing how to have sex (i.e., bellybutton, butt), as ridiculous as that may seem, but the idea of getting married and not even knowing what sex is...that's the definition of living a sheltered life. Something tells me mom and dad (on both sides) were not quite forthcoming with life lessons for their teenagers.

"We are not talking retarded people here, but a couple who were brought up in a religious environment who were simply unaware, after eight years of marriage, of the physical requirements necessary to procreate."

That's a very funny quote. Guess their parents didn't tell them what 'begat' means in the bible.

"My husband's so big, he can't even get it IN me!"

Screw the 7-minute ab workout, this guy just invented the 30-second ab workout!

I call bullshit.

From what I've heard, European television is a lot racier than American TV, and there's just no way they wouldn't have a basic understanding of how to get it on if they've ever watched television.

If one presumes that they live in an area too rural for TV (unlikely - how would they know to consult a fertility clinic?), it's still bullshit, because every kid who's been raised in a rural area has seen cows and goats and dogs and sheep and such gettin' busy at one point or another.

Either this couple is totally retarded, or this story is totally false.

I have a feeling we're not talking about Claudia Schifer here either.

Hmmm, not doing is one thing but not knowing is another thing. They, after all, did go to a fertility clinic so they had a concept of being fertile. I'd watch for snopes.
