I've been trying to figure out how to do this for the last 30 minutes, and the thought just hit me that someone on here can probably do this very quickly. I need to make a decision today as to what color a t-shirt is going to be, and I'm trying to make the logo below have different background colors. I want to change *every* bit of white on it to each of the follow colors so I can have a look at what the shirt might look like:
light blue
bright red
*VERY* light tan
light grey
bright yellow
medium grey
If you think any other colors might work, feel free to do such a background as well. I am having to click on the inside of every single letter, nook and cranny to change it from white. I'd imagine one of you can make it change all white automatically. Thanks in advance!

Set the white to transparent then put said image on a web page and just change the background colors

How do I set the white to transparent? (using FrontPage)

Skydog,
What program are using to manipulate the image? You can set a default background color (rather than white) before you place the logo.
No, not with Frontpage, with your image editor. Save it as a GIF and edit the palette transparency (how you do that depends on what utility you have) to be the background in the picture.

I've got a program called "ArcSoft PhotoStudio". I can't figure out the transparency editing yet. Working on it though...

Photo editor should be able to save as a .gif... not sure if it'll do transparency, tho...

I don't like the red one, and can't see any light yellow background on the last one...
Edit: the other ones look pretty good.

Oh, and this should have been already said by me, but thanks a TON for showing me how to do this. Now we can make a much better decision, and we'll probably end up choosing a different color than we would have just looking at the white and guessing.

What's with the 70's hippie font, anyway? Our trip theme song is "Fantastic Voyage" by Lakeside. I can't recall if it came out in the late 70's or early 80's. Either way, the tune has a distinctly 70's feel to it. Every time we start the buses moving (which will be a number of times between Tucker, GA and Fraser, CO), we will play the entire song over the bus PA. Come along and ride on a fantastic voyage!

Way to reach out to today's youth there, SD... ;)We used this song four years ago (before the current seniors were eligible to go). It was a HUGE hit. Coolio sampled it a year or so before we used it. Once again, someone has sampled it in a current tune this year. Besides, we intentionally go with something that is not "current" to intentionally be silly. It usually works. "Kung Fu Fighting" and "Convoy" have both worked very well in the recent past as well. Teenagers. Go figure.

Ack, sorry about this Ben - I haven't been on FOFC too much lately (or the IHOF board today much for that matter), so this slipped by me....if you need any other colors changed, it should be easy in photoshop just by selecting a color and using the replace color tool....PM me if you have any other specific combos in mind, but it looks like others have already come to the rescue.

"Back in the day" connotates Kurtis Blow, Afrika Bambaata (Sp?) and the Zulu Nation, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Kool Herc, Run-DMC, Whodini, LL Cool J (when he was "only 18 makin' more than your pop"), M.C. Chill, The Treacherous Three, MC Shy D, MC Shan, Ice T (with "The Glove"), et al.

To me, "back in the day" is pretty much up until Straight Outta Compton or maybe even Illmatic on the East Coast scene. I didn't start listening to rap until probably 97 or 98, but I'm not gonna attempt to group in the likes of 2pac, Biggie or Coolio - all the ones that appeared and disappeared before I started listening - as old-school.

It's not too hard to do... the sound quality won't be all that, unless you have some really good software for that sort of thing... I've been helping some friends of mine at church convert our sermon library from casette to .mp3.
