HELP

My installation of FOF2004 simply won't open.

I've un-installed, reinstalled, cleared the registry and reinstalled, but nothing works. I double click the EXE file and it just fails, no messages, nothing.


I'm running XP and have the most recent version. Anyone with any ideas PLEASe help! I'm in a league and this SUCKS =)

People have mentioned this before and I believe it has something to do with your installation file being corrupted. My advice is to re-download the exe. Hopefully, you don't have dial-up like me.

Maybe try installing in Windows Safe Mode as it helped out the chap in the thread linked above.

Download it and then reboot your computer. It should work just fine then...

I discovered the problem, and have gotten everything back in proper working order.

it turns out that you have to have LicCtrl running for elicenses to function, I had turned it off thinking it was some sort of spyware thing.
