Anyone happen to have a clue as to what this is, exactly? Often when I'm at GameFAQs just browsing about, it seems like this game is always listed near the top of the "most frequented" pages. I've a feeling it's some kind of MMORPG or what not - something I haven't been able to get myself into these days.
Does anyone here happen to play it?

It is a MMORPG. There is a 15 day trial if you want to check it out. It looks a little different from most MMORPGs.

Huh...kind of a "Final Fantasy" type theme, eh? Akin to Anime?Do you play this, Nyarlahotep?

No, but I have seen a lot of stuff on it. I think I got as far as downloading the client once but I really don't have the time for another MMORPG so I never started playing it.

Wasn't Ragnarok the name of the club in Max Paine?

I think the name might be a wee bit significant than a club in a Video Game.

I played the open beta a couple of summers ago. It was fun since there were a bunch of my friends playing too... There is a lot of things they implemented since the open beta, and it's suppossed to be a fun game right now.

This game came up again in a conversation with my army buddy's other army friend. Apparently, he's quite addicted to this game, and I imagine it's been quite some time since it was released.
I've often wondered why this game seems to be always listed in the top ten on the PC boards at GameFAQs, and thought I'd chime in here again to see if there's anyone else still playing this.
Of course, the monthly price tag thing keeps me from trying it out, but do folks who still play this game still have the same impressions as before, or has it died out?
I played on a "free" RO server (i.e. a hacked one) and the game was terrible. It was bad EVEN BY MMORPG STANDARDS.
Stay AWAY from it. It's almost gotten one of my friends kicked out of college due to addiction. The game is not good, but it can be addicting because of the social aspects.

With all the additions now, the game is actually a nice little online pixel-based RPG romp. Although, I have to agree, the social aspect of the game does make it a big addiction.
